EJ Bantz is a full-time eBay seller and carries many products he imports from China. His success is great and only eclipsed by his willingness to share with others and desire to see others succeed as well. I have truly enjoyed getting to know EJ through the eBay Radio Super-Secret-Chat-Board and it was wonderful to meet in person at the eBay Radio Vegas Convention! Was a lot of fun. EJ is so willing to share – and we just didn’t have enough time to thoroughly pick his brain in Vegas so we plan to do that tonight!

Hello all, this is Gary’s son Mike. I have been trying figure out everything dad had going on online and it seems as though there were a few projects in the works but this was his baby that he tended to every day.
For the short term, 1 or 2 months, this site and the garage sale challenge site will remain up and running. Please feel free to use the forums and continue with your own garage sale challenge.
The long term has yet to be decided, I know that I am no auction rebel and am sure that all of you would fit that title more then me. Therefore I would like your feedback, thoughts, ideas about what the fate of theaucitonrebel.com should be. Is the site useful as is or does the information get outdated like dad’s computer that I’m typing this on? No idea is a bad idea, well except if you suggest I take it over, we will all go broke then since I don’t have dad’s eye for buying the 25 cent item at a garage sale that will sell for hundreds or more online.
I look forward to hearing your ideas and thoughts.

Many of us were saddened last week when we heard of the passing of ‘The Auction Rebel’ from our midst. This stark reminder of our own mortality happens more and more frequently, it seems, as we age. It started me thinking, again, about the ‘end plan’ I have for my business. A wonderful Mentor, Janelle Elms, first brought this concept to my thoughts and I’ve returned to it again & again. Right now the practical matters are foremost in my mind. I guess I don’t want to leave these type of decisions to my family to decide while they are dealing with other pressing matters. . . . . although from the above I can only say that Gary’s son seems to be right on top of everything and handling it wonderfully. What are your thoughts? What are your plans? NONE of us are guaranteed tomorrow.

New Website Developers!

Our scheduled guest for last Wednesday, Gary Hendrickson, had an emergency meeting crop up the same time as our show so had to cancel at the last minute. We hope to reschedule Gary to introduce this year’s Garage Sale Challenge on the 27th so stay tuned.

SOOOOOO . . . . . . . we announced our Host BETH’S brand new website and the designers behind it! If you remember, back on February 7th of this year, Beth won a Website on Dave White’s Ebay & Beyond Radio show – on their SECOND Anniversary show! There were some delays as the original designer pulled out of the project and our friends, ‘the Tims‘ stepped up to the plate and delivered in a BIG way. Beth’s site is built around the Presto Site Shopping Cart software and I had no idea how versatile this tool is. Tim Selaty called in to the show and talked about all the options available on a site like Beth’s and how happy they were with Beth’s pleased reaction to their design. Beth is now busily stocking the site and you can check it out by clicking on the photo.
