RRB Radio Makes eBayInkBlog’s Favorite Podcasts List

Late in January I get an update of an eBayInkBlog post, and a tweet from RBH, Richard Brewer-Hay to check it out. So I click through and was surprised to find my podcast mentioned on eBayInkBlog’s Favorite Podcasts! The River the Ranch and the Bay (aka RRB Radio) makes the list!

I cannot tell you how honored I am to be mentioned among only four other podcasts, number one being eBay Radio, with Jim Griffith (Griff) and Lee Mirabal! Wooohoooooo! Also on this list is John Lawson, of ColderICE, a ecommerce podcaster/blogger, and of course, Dave White, Host of eBay and Beyond, Basics to Business, with whom I co-host w/Kat Simpson on Monday’s 12 noon Central time.

RBH has joined our podcast on more than a few occasions and is a favorite guest. Richard also frequents our live chat room on TalkShoe of both eBay & Beyond and RRB Radio! He adds insights, asks questions, and contributes when he can join us.

On April 2, 2010 eBayInkBlog celebrated its second birthday and I’d like to personally thank RBH for a great blog, complete with his insights, honesty, and integrity. eBay Ink brought eBay into the 21st century with the latest news and happenings at eBay, his “5 minutes with,…” video segments, and behind the scenes interviews. Jen Cano of Hammertap joined The River the Ranch and the Bay (RRB Radio) with “What’s Hot on eBay” and updates on where Zhu Zhu pet sales are now! This was a great show! Jen gave us an update on the famous, or should I say infamous, Zhu Zhu Pets, the adorable toy hamsters elusive to buyers in local stores as eBayers raked shelves and sold them on eBay. These darling creatures even made it on eBayInkBlog.com, as posted 12-09-09, It’s a Hamster Holiday, complete with a heat map, a visual indicator of all U.S.-based transactions that occurred on eBay from November 1 to November 30, 2009. After a few hamster giggles, Jen gives RRB Radio listeners research information on bibles that is money in the bank! Jen’s tips include, what bibles are selling for the most money, what features to look for, what is the average sell through rate (STR) for bibles on eBay, and so much more. Finally she gives tips for selling depression glass and salt and pepper shakers, and what color glass sells the best. EJ Bantz & Dan on IMPORTING from CHINA as product sourcing!

EJ Bantz is a full-time eBay seller and carries many products he imports from China. His success is great and only eclipsed by his willingness to share with others and desire to see others succeed as well. I have truly enjoyed getting to know EJ through the eBay Radio Super-Secret-Chat-Board and it was wonderful to meet in person at the eBay Radio Vegas Convention! Was a lot of fun. EJ is so willing to share – and we just didn’t have enough time to thoroughly pick his brain in Vegas so we plan to do that tonight!
